An exciting opportunity to join a PE/VC backed business. A best-in-class tech business who are a market disruptor enjoying sales growth of 25% pa with an annual run rate approaching £20m.

Whilst a board level appointment, this is a hands-on role working alongside the founders. Building on a sound financial management platform, the Finance Director (Des) will play a pivotal role in optimising the commercial performance of the business. This includes providing analysis and insight across all areas from supplier negotiation and management through to inventory management and pricing.

Drawing from your experience and review of the business, you will identify and implement the relevant KPIs and metrics to generate powerful business intelligence. You will be expected to regularly present your recommendations to the leadership group to provide a view of the opportunities available and act on them, to facilitate the achievement of profitable strategic growth.

To succeed in this role, you will be a qualified accountant, ambitious and a team player keen to work effectively as a senior leader in a small but rapidly growing business. It is important you possess a demonstrable capacity to contribute meaningfully to shaping and delivering the strategy, whilst being a hands-on accountant given the bandwidth of the role.
