Happy New Year!

Or, more specifically, Happy Lunar New Year (apologies to any readers who might have panicked that we were still battling through January for a second there)!

Also referred to as Chinese New Year, the Lunar New Year lands between late January and early February due to its connections to the phases of the moon: indeed, the festival celebrating the new year begins with the new moon and ends with the full moon, which this year spans from the 10th to the 24th February. And what a festival it will be, marking a time of spring, spirituality and rebirth with week-long celebrations dedicated to dragon dancing, lantern displays, gifts and a lot of food on offer.

This February, we are entering the Year of the Dragon, which is one of the most revered of the Chinese Zodiacs, denoting wealth and good success throughout the year, especially to those who were born in the year of the dragon. (My youngest was actually born in the year of the dragon – no prizes for guessing my favourite child for 2024!)

Moreover, according to many astrologists, we can expect to see great shifts in power in the next 12 months, whether it be in more high profile cases such as leaders of countries taking over from one another, or perhaps much closer to home. In this year of great fortune and success, we may also see some major changes in our workplaces and in our own professional development – whether through promotion or even a whole new career change.

If you are looking to evolve in your career this year (bolstered by the fortuitous power of the dragon!), we here at ABPM+ are here to help. Contact us today to find out how.
