For their next stage of their growth they are looking to recruit a dynamic and energetic finance professional to take up the finance baton from an incumbent Finance Director. You will be a key member of the senior management team and be expected to relate to the broader team as well as the company’s shareholders. You will bring to bear commercial and strategic skills in evaluating the day to day as well as the company’s future direction.

Externally, as the Finance Director you will be the key point of contact with external suppliers of services and not only liaise with the company’s auditors and tax advisors but also their bankers and providers of external capital as the business scales up to reach its undoubted potential.

Vital to your success in the role you will have demonstrable commercial acumen, finely honed inter-personal skills, a proven capacity to lead and manage a finance function and be of a curious nature. The technical skills required for the role should be a given. It would be ideal if you were from a retail background but not an absolute requirement.
