ABPM as experts in financial recruitment are supporting a growing not-for-profit organisation based in Nottinghamshire to recruit an Interim Head of Finance. The successful candidate will need to have obtained an accountancy qualification, a engaged finance professional who will look at overall financial strategy across the sites to advance performance and support the business through their time of need. The individual will need to have strong inter-personal skills, build relationships and communicate with staff at all levels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting and overseeing financial processes across multiple sites.
• Performance monitoring against budgets and strategy plans, assessing to implement improvements.
• Oversee the Regional Directors in Finance and support finance teams for professional development.
• Ensure accurate monthly management accounts across all sites.
• Cashflow forecasting, overheads, budgeting and liaising with managers to acquire a better understanding of the figures for the business as a whole
• Assisting in consolidation of financial statements for audits.
• Gathering financial information to support bids, tenders and funding.
• Maintain all control policies ensuring compliance and legislations are adhered to throughout.
• Ad-hoc tasks when required.

PROFILE

• ACA/ACCA/ACMA
• Experience of working in a similar role / seniority level
• Team management, control enhancement and budget maximisation
