ABPM as experts in financial recruitment have been appointed by a recently acquired SME in the Service industry based in to recruit a Financial Controller during a period of transition. The successful individual will be a qualified accountant who has proven technical accounting experience and can work to tight deadlines in a a friendly but changing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Gp FD you working closely with other senior managers
• Preparing a systems and processes review and understanding the financial forecasts, budgeting and cash flow projections.
• Running the accounts team and to encourage a very high quality of financial control.
• Production of the monthly management accounts following an update and preparation for migration to the parent company’s reporting requirements.
• Overall P/L forecasting responsibility.

ESSENTIAL

• You will ideally be a Qualified accountant – ACA/ACCA/ACMA
• Good all-round accounting services experience within a long term contracts or outsourcing environment
• Requiring an individual who is very robust, self-motivated, determined and professional to ensure the business succeeds and continues growing.
• Ability to speak to colleagues on all levels within the business.

The role will be a hands-on type of role and an opportunity to lead the finance function and help steer the business to continued success.
