It is fair to say E-commerce has been changing the shape of the consumer experience and it has only accelerated these past 12 months. Our retail client are keen to ensure their multi-channel and ecommerce platform have the business intelligence and market analysis they need to continue growing profitably. As Head of a discreet and focused team you will have a highly-visible and strategically significant impact on the business working for the board. We are looking for a rounded commercial accountant with strong experience built inside an e-commerce based business or multi-channel retailer. You will be adopting a joined-up approach with the finance, operations and data analytics teams to champion insights on new ranges, promotions, seasonality, peak trading and star performers for the business with due recognition of financial impact.
- Own the financial value add insights of actuals versus budget and ROI
- Assist the board in determining strategy in order to attract new, and retain existing, customers across digital marketing channels
- Work seamlessly with key associated internal teams
- Track and assess e-commerce performance (daily, weekly, monthly, seasonally, etc), reporting back to the wider business.
