Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role doubles as a managerial role and as a business partner to the sales and manufacturing teams. The teams don’t want just the numbers but the insights and benefits that can be derived from them.
Amongst a broad array of duties:
- Produce and share accurate and fully analysed monthly management accounts with narratives with analysis on variances and margin evolution.
- Build strong relationships with wider business through quality business partnering in order to aid decision-making to maximise business performance.
The client wishes to appoint a qualified ACCA/CIMA Accountant or late stages with experience within the manufacturing sector, ideally who demonstrates prior business partnering experience.
Expectations are high of this role, so the traits sought of the ideal applicant are strong communication skills, an intellectual and business curiosity borne of a desire to understand the business and the numbers to deliver the requisite outputs.
